January Wrap Up | Giveaway!

Wow, has January been a busy month! I don't think I've been this prolific in the entire year of 2015, if I were honest. Dozen original posts, old reviews and new reviews in abundance, it's no wonder you could barely keep up!

To help you make sure you didn't miss a thing, here is a roundup of January!

My reading month absolutely sucked, if I were honest. I kind of lost my reading mojo, which is the worst thing that could happen to me on the first month of the blog being active, but there you go. I just... didn't read. And when I did, I wasn't feeling any of it--even one of my greatest anticipations of 2016 didn't manage to get me out of the funk!

I ended up dnfing two of the books above (which are not in my reading challenge, don't fret. They were there just to remind me to properly write their reviews lol)

However, you can expect reviews for all of the books above, so at least I'm not behind on the reviewing aspect of things, right?

Haha, I know - two heavy lifters! Hoping these two will bring back the mojo!

    1. Ah, I loved that one!! Still haven't read the sequel though :P

  2. Thanks for the giveaway! I'd love to win Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater :)

      Thank you! <3

  3. I'd love to win a copy of Of Beast and Beauty. Thanks so much!!

    1. Beauty and the Beast is such a great novel! Hope you read it whether you win it or not :)))

  4. I would love to win The Book Thief. Thank you for this GIVEAWAY!

  5. I would pick Scarlet since Cinder was one of my favorite reads last year actually! :)

    1. Then you HAVE to read Scarlet. I hope you win just so I could help somebody continue this amazing journey ;)

  6. Love your books, i have some favorites in your list, I love

    1) Which book would you pick if you win? Beast and Beauty or Shadow Study (love the first trilogy)
    2) What are some of your favorite reads of 2015? Lunar chronicles, Magnus Chase and Wildwood dancing :D

    1. 1) Of Beast and Beauty is a great book, but if you loved the Poison trilogy... you *need* Shadow Study in your life!
      2) Ohh, Magnus Chase! Really need to get my butt in gear, finish HoO and get moving on this next series! :D

      Thanks for entering!

  7. I would love to win either Uprooted or Shadow and Bone, which I've put off for far too long. Thank you for the giveaway!

    1. Between the two I would really recommend Uprooted, for two reasons: 1. it's a standalone, so you don't have to commit yourself to any follow up book and the story ends when you finish the book.
      b. it's hella unique.
But obviously, both are on my favorite list so both are wonderful!

      You're welcomed! :)

  8. I would love to get Uprooted or Shadow and bone. 2015 maybe my laziest year so i didn't do much reading, but i really liked The Handmaid's Tale because i love dystopian stories.

    1. As I actually told weltlichgesinnt - between these two I would really recommend Uprooted because it's a standalone, so you don't have to commit yourself to any follow up book and the story ends when you finish the book and it's hella unique. Truly a one-of-a-kind story.
But both are great, so whatever you pick will be an experience! :)
I actually haven't heard of The Handmaid's Tale - will have to check it out!
